Pastor Daniel McCoy
Pastor's personal mission statement.
“To reach others with the Gospel message of Christ’s redemptive work for mankind. To disciple and equip new believers to live an effectual and consistent Christian life. To be immersed in a body of believers that strives to pursue the Great Commission and to live a faithful Christian life. To be a part of a ministry that is both relevant and effective.”
I first seriously committed my life to Christ at the age of twelve. It was at this time that I felt a strong call towards pastoral ministry as well. Shortly after this time, I was given the tremendous privilege of preaching my very first message. Ever since that day my heart has been driven towards being a pastor. Beginning at the age of nineteen, I have served in various ministerial roles including youth pastor, staff pastor, Sunday school teacher, and small group leader. There is nothing I love more than ministering to people and building eternal relationships. In order to better equip myself for ministry, I have also dedicated myself to the study of God’s word. God has blessed me with the opportunity to receive a Bachelors of Arts in Church Ministries, and a Th M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, where I graduated with high honors. Through my studies, I am continually amazed at the greatness and goodness of the God we serve! I am overjoyed and excited about what God is doing in Lakeside City.
